Founded in 1989, as European Frozen Food Buyer and re-launched in 2001 as Frozen Food Europe, the magazine is dedicated to the total European market and fulfils a link between buyers and sellers across the continent.

Volume buyers deal with huge amounts of products and are managing trends and prices in the entire market. Frozen Food Europe focuses its attention on matters of interest and importance to volume buyers and is the only pan-European magazine dedicated specifically to Europe's decision makers, being at the same time a strong sales intrument for manufacturers and traders.

  Meiko Celebrates its 80th Anniversary - a Never-ending Story
The beginning
● 1927 - Oskar Meier was employed by the Offenburg company Martin, which built washing machines and lathes. In 1927 he and Franz Konrad, who had experience in sales, decided to ‘go it alone’ and initially set up a small work-shop in Friedrichstrasse. That was also where they invented the name which has since become a synonym across the world for first-class dish-washing technology - Meier and Konrad = MeiKo. One year later, in 1928, their small business moved to its present location – the corner of Englerstrasse and Haselwanderstrasse.
