Clearly arranged, easy to navigate and to read, the website of the German Frozen Food Institute (dti) in Cologne offers the highest internet quality. With www.tiefkuehlinstitut.de the user receives neutral publicity-free information on every aspect of frozen food in all its varieties. Under the category Cooles for example, internet surfers will find historic information on frozen food, or advice on the handling of frozen products. For journalists, dti offers its current press releases online under the categorie Presse, as well as extensive archives of all publications since 1999. The picture database covers numerous subjects such as recipes, food and people, with photos of all frozen product groups. All photos can be downloaded free of charge, in print quality. A list of links refers to webpages of ministries, institutions and organizations, as well as to websites of numerous members. Member companies of the institute can obtain exclusive information from webpages where access is only possible via password. On these internal webpages, dti offers among other things market data on consumption development of the German frozen food market in general, as well as detailed information on individual product groups. This service is completed by international statistical figures. An overview of members of working groups and boards of dti may also be found on these protected webpages. Information for dti members - such as circulars and newsletters - is placed online in the category Infoservice. A further database lists numerous food fairs in Germany and in other countries up to 2005. Continuously increasing accesses to our internal webpages confirm the need of our member companies for exclusive information in these times of network communication. In order to further improve the internal communication on this online platform, dti is constantly expanding and updating its services.

ReadyMealsInfo
Launched in 2000, this is the only publication to focus on the GBP 1.9 billion UK ready meals sector. The reason they focus on the UK is that it is the biggest convenience and ready meals market in Europe. With lifestyle being a driver of eating habits, the market is going to grow - at the moment projected at nearly 10% between 2002 and 2007 - covering chilled, frozen and ambient categories. As such, it is probably the only real growth area in the UK food industry. ReadyMealsinfo is an online publication, which aims to cover all the news for the total production chain of the ready meal. This goes from prime produce, and covers ingredients, manufacturing, machinery, IT, packaging, labelling, transport and storage and onto the shelves of the multiples. ReadyMealsinfo not only covers daily news, but it also has a features section with the three elements of Profiles, Case Studies and Features, which cover issues in the sector. On top of this it has as part of the website a Buyers Guide, with listings of companies relevant to the ready meals sector. A free e-mail newsletter is sent out every fortnight.

British Frozen Food Federation
The British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) represents the UK's industry trade association. Its goal is to promote and protect the interests of its members and the frozen food industry through the provision of information, the development of unity and the co-ordination of collective strength. BFFF gives its members legislative, technical and commercial advice and keeps them informed with the latest news and events within the industry. The federation organizes 'Frozen Food at IFE' Exhibition, one of the 'big three' frozen food exhibitions in Europe. BFFF's Annual Retail and Catering Awards recognises, rewards and promotes new and innovative frozen food products. The Awards are unique in so far as they are judged by panels of consumers. On the website, besides the reasons why your frozen food company should join BFFF, you can find the latest news and archives, frozen food statistics and relevant links, a members and a comittees area, as well as consumer information. A great website, with an attractive design.
