| EQT II has signed an agreement with FoodVest, a holding company controlled by private equity firm CapVest Equity Partners, to sell Findus. EQT acquired Findus from Nestle in January 2000 and since then has substantially restructured and reshaped the business and developed its leading positions within select categories of the branded frozen food market.

| Bernard Matthews Food Service’s Turkey Premiere has won the “Kids’ Healthy Options Meals” category in the Excellence in Food & Drink Awards 2005. Despite the product’s healthy credentials, it still has plenty of child appeal: the judges comprised a highly critical group of eight and nine year olds from the Amy Johnson Primaty School in Wallington, Surrey.
