| A meeting of representatives of Belarusian ice cream manufacturers in Minsk in mid-April concluded that companies that import ice cream into Belarus should certify that the ice cream they import meets Belarusian quality standards. In this way, Belarusian consumers will be protected from poor quality products.

The Talosto frozen foods producer plans to invest USD 174 million in its business development over the next five years. Talosto will invest USD 100 million in ice cream production, USD 15 million in frozen prepared foods production and USD 19 million in the production of dough. Another USD 40 million will be invested in the management company and a trading house, the installation of a resources planning system and the development of a distribution network.
