 Russia – Inmarko to build new ice cream factory

| The Inmarko ice cream producer in Russia is to start constructing a new ice cream factory in the city of Omsk in 2006. The factory will have an annual production capacity of 40,000 tonnes of ice cream, which will nearly double Inmarko’s current capacity.

Viciunai Group has opened up a new production site, Vichiunai Nordic in Tallinn, Estonia. Vichiunai Nordic is the new name of the previously acquired plant of AS Makrill, where pastry products, such as pancakes and dumplings will be produced.
So far the Viciunai Group has been focussing on the production of fish and vegetable products. With the addition of a new and wide assortment of pastry goods, Viciunai Group intends to further develop its markets.
