Cheating Gourmet – a manufacturer of frozen seafood products – has recently revealed it is rebranding to Scott & Jon’s.
Now named after co-founders and brothers, Scott and Jon Demers, the company has also unveiled a fresh new look and a new line of pasta & noodles bowls. The noodles come in Ramen and Spicy Shrimp Ramen flavors, while the pasta meals are available in Shrimp Alfredo and Shrimp Scampi.
“Rebranding with our own names was our way of connecting with our customers, family-to-family. We are deeply committed to producing quality products that support the needs of today’s busy family. There’s no better way to demonstrate that commitment than by having our names on every package,” said Co-Founder Scott Demers.
Inspired by the “Everyday seafood made easy” mantra, Cheating Gourmet was established by the Demers brothers who recognized the lack of high-quality, on-the-go seafood options. With convenience in mind, they first introduced a line of microwavable shrimp and rice bowls in seven flavors including Garlic Butter, Creamy Parmesan, Coconut, Jambalaya, Shrimp Risotto, Sweet Chipotle, and Cilantro Lime. All of the company’s meals contain sustainably-sourced shrimp and are all under 300 calories.
“We use only the best ingredients – fresh vegetables, protein-rich shrimp and the perfect blend of spices to create a meal that is comforting and most importantly healthy,” Demers revealed.
