Cuisinart has introduced the Cool Combo Ice Cream Maker and Snow Cone Machine, its first appliance designed to produce both homemade ice cream and snow cones in a single countertop unit as demand for customizable frozen desserts continues to grow.

The new appliance combines two frozen treat formats in a compact design, allowing consumers to prepare homemade ice cream, frozen desserts and snow cones without requiring separate machines. The launch targets families and home entertainers seeking versatile kitchen appliances that save counter space while offering greater flexibility.

The introduction comes as consumers increasingly personalize homemade frozen desserts with ingredients such as fruit, candy, cookies, nuts and flavored syrups. Cuisinart said the broader ice cream maker market is expected to reach USD1.9bn this year, driven by growing consumer interest in preparing frozen treats at home.

The Cool Combo features a 1.5-quart capacity intended for family gatherings, parties and other shared occasions. The appliance also includes one-touch controls and an easy-lock lid designed to simplify operation for users of all experience levels.

“Whether it’s cooling off after a day outside or ending dinner with something sweet, frozen treats have a way of bringing people together,” said Danielle Cowden, Product Director, Ice Cream. “Building on our success in the ice cream maker category, we created the Cool Combo to make those moments of joy and kitchen creativity more accessible to sweet treat lovers everywhere – now with one machine that makes two different treats.”
