Innovate Foods Becomes Part of Frostkrone

The location of Kirkcaldy in Scotland is where Innovate Foods produce deep-frozen finger food and snacks for the wholesale trade, for retailers and for the food service sector, with all production taking place in their state-of-the-art facilities there. The company, based in Scotland, was founded by Tony Dumbreck and is still being run by him today. Innovate Foods is one of the leading producers of finger food in Great Britain.

Current product innovations to come out of the company’s ateliers include the following:

  • Portobello Mushroom Burger: Luscious vegetarian burger simply bursting with only natural ingredients such as beetroot, chickpeas, kidney beans, bulgur wheat and handpicked portobello mushrooms.
  • Nacho Bites: Green jalapeňo filled with a nacho cheese sauce and wrapped in a crispy tortilla parcel.Smoked Haddock Fishcakes: Small, delicious nibbles made of smoked haddock (MSC-certified)and perfected with leek and mature Cheddar cheese.

Tony Dumbreck will continue to function as Managing Director for Innovate Foods and will also hold such a position in the Frostkrone Food Group: “We view the merger with the Frostkrone Food Group as a very good development.
