McCain Foods Announces Biggest Launch in Over a Decade

McCain Foods has announced the launch of its biggest new product development in over a decade, Baby Hasselbacks.

The company was inspired by consumer insight which revealed that shoppers lack inspiration for midweek meals and regularly struggle to find quick and easy choices that deliver both on taste and value. Not only will the new product provide consumers with convenience and quality, but it will also increase appeal to the growing frozen food category.

McCain Baby Hasselbacks feature skin-on, pre-sliced whole baby potatoes and each 653g bag includes a sea salt and cracked black pepper flavor sachet. This allows shoppers to customize the potatoes to their specific seasoning preferences.

Scoring all green on the nutritional traffic light system, McCain Baby Hasselbacks are both vegan and gluten-free. They have been drizzled with vegetable oil and slow baked for added flavor and crispiness.

The new McCain Baby Hasselbacks are now available at Waitrose, ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Iceland and Co-Op and are priced from GBP3.69.
