The World of Bakery Awaits You at World Bakers Summit

Registration is open for the inaugural World Bakers Summit, a new international event dedicated to the baking and pastry industry in Central and Eastern Europe.

The Summit will take place from September 15–17, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bucharest and will bring together bakery manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, technology providers, retailers and hospitality operators from across the region.

Organized by European Baker & Biscuit under the World Bakers brand, the event is designed as a platform for knowledge exchange, networking and business development. Through a combination of keynote presentations, panel discussions, masterclasses and networking opportunities, World Bakers Summit addresses some of the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing the baking industry today.

We created World Bakers Summit because we saw a need for a platform that brings together all parts of the bakery value chain in one place. Producers, retailers, hospitality operators, ingredient suppliers and technology providers are all facing many of the same challenges, but they rarely have the opportunity to discuss them together. Our goal is to create meaningful conversations around the issues that are shaping the future of the industry in Central and Eastern Europe.”

Tudor Vintiloiu, Editor-in-Chief European Baker & Biscuit

The conference agenda will focus on topics including labor scarcity, automation, operational efficiency, clean label product development, sustainability, plant-based and high-protein innovation, changing consumer preferences, supply chain resilience and the broader economic environment in which bakery businesses operate.
