Le Duc to Debut Breaded Cauliflower Wings at Anuga 2025

Le Duc, the Dutch frozen food company, will unveil its newest vegetarian innovation—Breaded Cauliflower Wings—at Anuga 2025 in Cologne.

The plant-based appetizer features a cauliflower core encased in a crunchy coating made from quinoa, linseed and barley flakes. The company is positioning the bite-sized snack as both vegan and versatile, targeting chefs, foodservice operators and retailers alike.

The product’s neutral, crispy exterior is designed to work with a broad range of sauces and seasonings, allowing it to adapt easily across menus. It can be prepared not only in fryers, ovens and air fryers but also in pizza and high-speed ovens, ensuring consistent quality across kitchen formats.

The wings are offered in 1,000-gram and 450-gram bags and are intended for use as starters, sides or snacks. Le Duc highlights the combination of convenience and consumer appeal as central to the launch, pointing to the growing demand for flexible, plant-based options in foodservice and retail.

Anuga 2025, one of the world’s largest trade fairs for food and beverages, will run from October 4 to 8 in Cologne. Le Duc will showcase the Breaded Cauliflower Wings at Hall 4.2, Stand C079, where visitors will also get an early look at another upcoming product launch.
