McCain is bringing its frozen food brand – Brew City – to the UK, reports Morning Adviser. The lineup includes snacks like halloumi fries, potato pint pots, IPA last order fries, man ‘n’ jack kegs, as well as onion straws, arancini shots, cheese brew bites, and fiery jalapeno bottle caps and is targeted at pub and bar operators.
Made for sharing and to complement different types of beer, Brew City’s arrival in the UK is also supported by a GBP6m multi-channel campaign spanning TV, out-of-home, print, and online media. Brew City sits under the McCain Foodservice Solutions umbrella and was created to respond to the rising preference for craft beer, which has exploded in recent years.
The new frozen snacks will initially launch into Co-op stores and other grocery retailers this September, before rolling out to convenience stores in coming months.
