The EcoVadis rating system, which awards medals ranging from Bronze to Platinum to only the top 35% of assessed companies, follows internationally recognized sustainability standards including the Global Reporting Initiative, UN Global Compact, and ISO 26000.
In its 2025 assessment, SÜDPACK demonstrated remarkable improvement, increasing its overall performance by approximately 30% compared to 2023. The company achieved an exceptional score of over 90 out of 100 points in the “Environment” category, reflecting its robust environmental policies and external certifications. EcoVadis particularly recognized SÜDPACK for effectively implementing sustainability measures derived from these frameworks.
The company also excelled in “Labor and Human Rights,” earning a rating exceeding 80 percent. This achievement stems from numerous initiatives ranging from health protection and occupational safety to anti-discrimination policies and prevention of child labor, supported by certifications such as ISO 45001 and SA8000. Additionally, SÜDPACK improved its “Sustainable Procurement” score by 50% compared to its 2023 rating.
