Italian frozen food producer Surgital has launched a competition dedicated to professional chefs all over the world. To enter the Grand Contest for Fillings, a chef must create a recipe needed to make 1kg of filling for Surgital’s deep frozen pasta.
“There are no limits to the ingredients they can use, however chemical additives and coloring agents are prohibited. We allow only natural ingredients and keep in mind that the pasta you invent the filling for is square”, said Surgital representatives.
The winning entry will be selected by a panel of experts from Surgital’s Research & Development Center. Entries will be judged on their quality, originality and suitability for production on an industrial scale. Surgital reserves the right to modify or refine the winning recipe if necessary.
