As a nationally renowned leader in the cold chain sector, Ti Cold collaborated with Agile to design and construct a facility that prioritizes energy efficiency, sophisticated warehouse management, and value-added services for providers of frozen and refrigerated food.
Government representatives, dignitaries, and other distinguished guests were drawn to this intricate project because to its rapid turnaround and technological innovations. Ti Cold proceeded quickly to finish this brand-new, multi-temperature, cutting-edge cold storage facility after breaking ground in May 2023.
The site’s advantageous location on Joe Tamplin Industrial Boulevard makes it simple to access the Port of Savannah, I-16, and I-75. The facility has an astounding 33,666 pallet locations and a building that is 51 feet tall and 215,100 square feet in size.
“I had hoped that we could have a builder that in the middle of torrential rains could open a building on time and in budget, and we found that with Ti Cold and the rest of our partners,” Agile President and CEO Don Schoenl said at the ceremony. “We gave you a not ideal site and not ideal conditions and you delivered a product that you’re proud of and that we’re going to be proud of for years.”
Ti Cold installed a low-charge, eco-friendly ammonia refrigeration system. As a result, it uses less electricity than conventional systems to maintain temperatures between 40 and minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit, supporting the company’s commitment to cold and environmental programs.
