Frostkrone Enjoys Successful Anuga

Frostkrone Food Group emerged from Anuga 2025 with a resounding success, showcasing the versatility and modern appeal of its finger-food and snack innovations. The company set new standards for both retail and foodservice with an expansive product portfolio, inventive concepts, and a robust international presence.

“That was our most successful Anuga since the pandemic,” said Emiel Lommen, Global Commercial Director. “We made many new contacts at home and abroad. A lot of visitors came specifically to see us because they are looking for a reliable partner with growth potential. We are very pleased with the response.”

The company’s booth remained a focal point throughout the exhibition. Its numerous product launches attracted heavy foot traffic, while interactive elements added energy to the space. Among the highlights was the Cheesy Cam, which broadcast visitors sampling the new Cheesy Loops live on a video wall—creating moments that were as shareable as they were entertaining.

Frostkrone’s presentation underscored its position as a leading innovator in the convenience food category, emphasizing the commercial potential of its concepts for both retailers and foodservice providers.

The Group introduced a striking array of new products that proved instant crowd favorites. The new Cheesy Loops—golden-brown cheese rings that are crisp on the outside and creamy within—quickly became a standout. Available in Cheddar Potato, Cheddar Onion and Cheddar Jalapeño varieties, they offer a snack that’s equally appealing on its own or served alongside burgers and salads.

“Something like this exists?” was a common reaction to Frostkrone’s Pizza Snack Box, which combines oven-warm pizza pieces and finger-food with two complementary dips in a single pack. Designed for sharing, it caters to social occasions and cozy evenings alike.

Another notable debut came from a partnership between Old Amsterdam and Frostkrone: the Cheese Bites. With a crispy exterior and the distinct flavor of Old Amsterdam inside, the bites received rave reviews. “If you like cheese, you will love the Cheese Bites,” visitors agreed. The product will hit REWE’s frozen range in October.

Rounding out the showcase were Sweet Dreams, a dessert concept presented in empanada form. These pastries encase warm cherry compote, apple, vanilla cream or chocolate within a crisp shell, suitable for air fryers, conventional ovens and professional kitchen equipment.

Each of these launches reflects Frostkrone’s ability to translate creative thinking into commercially sound, trend-driven finger-food solutions that resonate with both the retail and foodservice markets.

“Many companies start from the ingredient; we start from the idea and spot trends early. That gives us greater agility and speed. Our goal is simple: more enjoyment and choice for retailers, foodservice operators and consumers,” said Frédéric Dervieux, Chief Executive Officer of Frostkrone Food Group.

This philosophy has consistently yielded results. The company develops more than 100 new product ideas each year, with over 40 successfully reaching the market—evidence that Frostkrone’s trend-focused strategy continues to deliver both innovation and commercial success.
