Volpi Foods Expands Beyond Retail With Blaze Pizza Partnership and “Italian Escape” Menu

Volpi Foods, a fourth-generation, family-owned producer of charcuterie, is expanding its presence in US foodservice through a nationwide collaboration with Blaze Pizza, introducing a limited-time “Italian Escape” menu across more than 250 locations.

The rollout, which began on May 6 and runs through June 23, brings Volpi’s artisanal prosciutto into a broader restaurant footprint as the company pushes beyond the grocery aisle and into fast-casual dining. The partnership marks a significant step in Volpi’s expansion strategy, which has already added more than 3,000 new distribution points through collaborations with Blaze Pizza and other foodservice partners, including First Watch and Texas de Brazil.

Every product featured in the promotion includes Volpi prosciutto sourced from pigs raised under the company’s Raised Responsibly standard, which emphasizes animal welfare and sustainable farming practices.

The “Italian Escape” menu spans pizza, salad and dessert offerings designed to highlight the versatility of prosciutto in both savory and lighter seasonal dishes. The lineup includes a Prosciutto Pizza featuring white sauce, fresh mozzarella, arugula, balsamic caramelized onions, fig glaze and Volpi prosciutto, with a large format available. A smaller Prosciutto Pizzetta combines mozzarella, gorgonzola and prosciutto. A Strawberry Prosciutto Salad pairs seasonal strawberries, basil, fresh mozzarella and prosciutto with lemon balsamic dressing, while a Tiramisu Cup rounds out the offering with a traditional Italian dessert.

The collaboration reflects a broader shift in consumer expectations around transparency and ingredient provenance in foodservice. Increasingly, diners are showing interest not only in menu composition but also in the origin and craftsmanship of individual ingredients, a trend that has elevated the role of branded components within fast-casual offerings.

Founded in St. Louis in 1902, Volpi Foods has built its reputation on traditional charcuterie production and has recently expanded its portfolio to include convenient snack formats alongside its core deli products. The company said it plans to continue expanding its reach across both retail and foodservice channels as consumer demand for trusted, craft-oriented ingredients continues to grow.
