Bonduelle Group has recently received the Responsible Economy Gold Trophy, given in recognition of the Group’s insertion policy for disabled workers. This trophy, awarded in the category of companies with over 500 employees, was presented to the director of the Renescure plant, which was the pilot site for this policy. Since 2008, this long-standing site employs three people with intellectual disabilities on permanent contracts. After extensive preparatory work in collaboration with the “Papillons Blancs” Hazebrouck ESAT, Human Resources have implemented a selection and recruitment procedure. This enabled three people with intellectual disabilities to be hired since April 2008 on workstations that needed little adaptation of equipment but especially prior communication to all Renescure employees regarding disability, and three Bonduelle referents were trained to enhance their integration.
