Dutch food producer Vion will divest Oerlemans Foods from its portfolio, in favor of H2 Equity partners, following an agreement signed recently.
The transaction may be completed by the end of Q2 2014 and needs to be approved by authorities. While the takeover price has not been made public, the sale is a consequence of Vion’s revised strategy, according to which companies that are no longer part of the core activities will be sold.
Oerlemans Foods is a manufacturer of frozen fresh vegetables, fruit and potato products and H2 Equity partners announced it is looking forward to further reinforcing its excellent starting position, both on the basis of its Dutch and Polish operations.
