Athens Foods, a U.S.-based producer of phyllo dough and phyllo dough products – has unveiled new gluten-free frozen phyllo bites, available in select grocery stores nationwide this month.
The new products offer classic Greek dough to those with gluten sensitivity, allergy, or preference. The bites are made of crispy layers of phyllo wrapped around a choice of three fillings:
- Spinach and cheese
- Buffalo-style chicken
- Steak fiesta

Often you find gluten-free products sacrifice taste or texture once the gluten is removed from the equation.
