Central Foods, one of the UK’s largest frozen food suppliers, has launched a new wrap product for foodservice.
The spinach flavored variety is the latest addition to the KaterBake wrap lineup and is suited for both vegans and vegetarians. Previously, Central Foods offered the KaterBake pumpkin and beetroot wraps.
The company’s MD, Gordon Lauder commented on the launch “we have now extended the range of wraps offered by Central Foods to include the KaterBake spinach wrap – a vibrant 12-inch flavored wrap which will provide a colorful addition to the menu.”
Wraps and flatbreads are very popular meal options in Britain right now, so the new product comes to cater to the growing demand. According to Spitalfields Market, customers prefer them over the classic sandwich.
“There’s a very good reason why wraps and flatbreads are so popular now. Not only do they provide a really tasty carrier for a world of flavors, but they are also versatile, easy to prepare and can be served at a range of meal occasions, whether that’s breakfast, lunch or dinner…or any time in between,” explained Gordon.
The new KaterBake variety has a shelf-life of two days. Central Foods is selling the KaterBake spinach wrap in two packs of 20.
