Turkey’s 22nd international food and drink exhibition, WorldFood Istanbul, took place on 4 – 7 September 2014 at the CNR Expocentre in Istanbul, Turkey. The event brought together 365 food companies from 36 countries.
Companies producing frozen food were present at the event, alongside other food producers and in total, 15,934 industry visitors attended the four day event to network and conduct business with international food and beverage suppliers.
Over 3,000 of these visitors were from overseas and included buyer groups from Azerbaijan, Kosovo and Qatar. The top ten visiting countries were: Iran, Palestine, Iraq, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Russia, Egypt, Bulgaria and Kosovo.
International exhibitor presence at this year’s event increased. 87 of the exhibitors represented international brands.
The event ran simultaneously with Ipack Turkey, the international packaging and food processing systems exhibition, and Ingredients Turkey, a dedicated food additives, flavorings and food ingredients event.
Turkey’s largest food and drink event will return on 3 – 6 September 2015.
