Goodfella’s Pours GBP4.2m in Brand Revamp

Frozen pizza brand Goodfella’s, which is owned by Nomad Foods, has invested GBP4.2m into a brand revamp which includes a new marketing campaign, writes CampaignLive.

As part of the promotional push, the company unveiled a TV advert earlier this month, which introduces a new character – the Godmother.

On top of that, Goodfella’s is revamping its whole portfolio, including launching a new pack design. According to the report, the refreshed products will contain more cheese, improved sauce and topping weights and a more rustic and natural dough finish. The new package design is said to be rolling out to promote the authentic quality of the Goodfella’s range.

The company has also extended its vegan pizza range with the addition of a new flavor called Spicy Vegetable Salsa. The product contains cheddar-style vegan cheese, red & green peppers, black beans, red onion, sweetcorn, salsa and spiced crumb. Goodfella will make the new option available for a RRP (recommended retail price) of GBP2.50.
