KFC has partnered up with Beyond Meat to test plant-based chicken nuggets for a limited time starting August 27 in Atlanta. The new products will be available at the Cobb Parkway restaurant near SunTrust Park in Atlanta.
Beyond Fried Chicken nuggets are available with a choice of favorite dipping sauce, like KFC’s signature Finger-Lickin’ Good sauce, or boneless wings tossed in one of three sauce options: Nashville Hot, Buffalo or Honey BBQ.
Once the trial is over, customer feedback from Atlanta will be considered as KFC evaluates a broader test of a potential national rollout.
Beyond Meat began developing plant-based meat in 2009 and since then it has introduced several products across the brand’s beef, pork and poultry platforms.
