After his election at the General Assembly Meeting in October 2012 in Madrid, Luc Put has on January 1 2013 taken over as President of the European Cold Storage and Logistics Association (ECSLA) from Hans van Leeuwen who served as President for the past year. “Since 2010, when the partnership with GCCA was established and ECSLA became the number one association to represent the European temperature-controlled logistics industry, much effort has been put into establishing a stable organization. Now it is time to look ahead and set clear goals for the future”, Put said. “The larger our membership base, the stronger our voice in Brussels and the better we can look after the interest of our members and the industry as a whole”, he added. Luc Put is CEO of Colfridis Invest NV, a Belgian cold storage company with 7 sites and a capacity of 920.000m³.
