MARCA Poland will return to Poznań on April 21-22, 2026, as organizers seek to reinforce the event’s role as a central meeting point for private label manufacturers, retailers, and buyers across Central and Eastern Europe.
The exhibition, held at the Poznań Congress Center, marks its second edition following the launch of the format in the region last year.
Co-organized by MTP Group and BolognaFiere Group, the event builds on the established MARCA concept developed in Italy, combining a trade exhibition with a structured program of conferences and business matchmaking. The initiative is designed to bring together the full private label value chain, from manufacturers and co-packers to retail decision-makers, within a single platform.
The backdrop to the event is a private label market in Central Europe that remains underdeveloped compared with Western counterparts, but is showing signs of acceleration. Private label currently accounts for approximately 24% of FMCG household spending in Poland, leaving room for expansion in both value and volume as consumer perceptions shift beyond price toward quality and added value . In more mature European markets, private label penetration has reached significantly higher levels, underscoring the region’s growth potential.
Organizers are positioning MARCA Poland as a catalyst for this transition, with a format intended to facilitate both commercial transactions and knowledge exchange. The exhibition will span a broad range of categories, including food and beverages, household products, cosmetics and pet care, alongside innovation-driven solutions that reflect changing consumer expectations.
A central feature of the event is the Hosted Buyers Programme, developed in partnership with ICE-Agenzia. The initiative focuses on attracting qualified buyers from retail chains and distribution networks across Europe through a targeted selection process, supported by a dedicated B2B matchmaking platform. The first edition brought together 55 international buyers from more than 20 countries, and organizers expect the upcoming event to expand both participation and deal-making opportunities.
In addition to its commercial focus, MARCA Poland will include a conference program addressing strategic priorities for the regional market, as well as an Innovation and Product Launch Zone highlighting new developments in product formulation, design and packaging. The showcase will feature winners of the MARCA Awards 2026 Best Innovation Product, offering a benchmark for emerging trends in private label.
The inaugural edition drew nearly 100 exhibitors and more than 900 professional visitors, reflecting early interest in a format aimed at bridging gaps between supply and demand in the region. With participation expected to grow, organizers are betting that Poznań can establish itself as a key venue for private label business as retailers and manufacturers respond to evolving consumer expectations and competitive pressures.
As private label continues to gain traction across Europe, MARCA Poland is positioning itself not only as a trade fair, but as a platform shaping how the segment develops in Central and Eastern markets.
