This month, McDonald’s Romania celebrated 20 years since opening the first store in the country. Since then, the company invested over RON 700m and has a team of 4000 employees.
Ever since the opening day, 260 employees served an impressive 15,300 customers, making this a historic sales record on a European level and placing McDonald’s Uniri as one of the most successful restaurants in Romania.
“Our commitment has been, from the beginning, to be a part of the lives of our customers. We are one of the first and main supporters of the local economy. We have invested over RON 700m and contributed to the development of the business environment with the help of our 300 local partners, all of whom are leaders in the respective fields,” said the General Manager of McDonald’s Romania, Daniel Boaje.
In 2015, the number of visits in McDonald’s restaurants has increased by 7, with over 4,5 million customers being served every month in the 67 restaurants throughout the country. The company’s financial results show a positive trend, with the turnover growing buy 4,8% compared to last year and a profit growth of 28% comprared to 2013.
