The Public Prize is a new category of SIAL Innovation that was introduced this year in an effort to offer voice to the organization’s many audiences.
The SIAL Innovation 2022 competition honored those who are reshaping the plates of tomorrow’s customers, and this public prize enables people to select their favorite product from among the winners.
A group of goods were chosen in September for several food categories by a jury made up of impartial specialists from around the world. Even though the items have not yet been finalized and are still in the testing and launch phases, the jury, which consists of show organizers, business executives, and journalists, considers each one’s innovative attributes.
Additionally, they look at any novel advantages the product might offer to customers or the business, such as those related to merchandising, packaging, recipes, technology, etc. The jury, whose judgment is final, only awards first prizes to those it deems to be the most inventive.
However, this year, the public will also have a voice by choosing which of the category winners should receive the Public Prize.
