Next year, SIGEP holds its 36th edition of the international expo for artisan gelato, confectionary and bakery segments, between 17-21 January ar Rimini Fiera.
The organizers hope to expand the success of the last edition (174,000 visitors, 20,1% more than 2013), achieved also thanks to the positive inclusion of RHEX Ristorazione (Rimini Horeca Expo) with trends in food and beverage consumption away from home, by including A.B.Tech Expo, dedicated to the bakery segment and held simultaneously.
“There promises to be a further increase in the expo – we’re working to ensure that, as well as the great success with trade visitors, there is also a constantly higher visitor profile, particularly that of those from abroad. All this in close collaboration with the key associations and thus with the enterprises, which are fundamental for sharing the coordinates for the expo’s expansion. We are very satisfied with the sales response up until now for SIGEP 2015, positive feedback for the growth of a sector combining big figures with very high quality,” said Rimini Fiera business unit manager Patrizia Cecchi.
SIGEP Gelato d’Oro, with the selections of the Italian team for the 2016 Gelato World Cup and the Pastry Events (Junior World Championship and national pastry championships) will be the hub of the events, with the respective arenas dedicated to the performances of great Masters.
