SÜDPACK Reshapes US Strategy With Sale of Wisconsin Plant and Partnership With PPC Flex

SÜDPACK is repositioning its US business through the sale of its production facility in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, to long-standing industry partner PPC Flex, a move aimed at strengthening its market presence and accelerating growth in North America.

The transaction is paired with a broad strategic partnership between the two companies, with a particular emphasis on packaging solutions for the meat and cheese segments.

PPC Flex, which employs about 1,600 people, ranks among the leading converters in North America and brings extensive market access and a wide technological base. The Oak Creek facility, located north of Chicago, aligns closely with PPC Flex’s existing site strategy, reinforcing its operational footprint in the region. SÜDPACK said that safeguarding a secure and reliable future for employees at the Wisconsin site was a central consideration throughout the process.

The partnership is designed to combine SÜDPACK’s technical and materials expertise with PPC Flex’s established customer relationships and market reach. By working more closely together, the companies aim to deliver more targeted, innovative and high-performance packaging solutions to customers across the United States.

SÜDPACK said the realignment allows it to reinforce its position in the US market while creating a solid foundation for sustainable, long-term growth. The company views the partnership as a way to remain closely connected to the market while leveraging complementary strengths to expand its presence in key food packaging segments.
