Urschel is expanding the geographic reach of its food processing portfolio, extending the availability of KRONEN commercial processing systems to customers in Italy and across Asia.
Effective January 1, 2026, the company offers KRONEN solutions through Urschel Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. and Urschel International Ltd. Italy, further integrating the two brands within Urschel’s global sales and service network.
With the move, Italy and all areas of Asia will join the United States, Mexico, Pakistan and China in carrying both Urschel cutting machinery and KRONEN systems. Customers will be able to access a broader range of food processing equipment, including washers, dicers, slicers, dryers and conveyors, supported by Urschel’s established technical and service infrastructure.
KRONEN is known for processing lines designed to support hygienic, safe and efficient handling of fresh foods, with an emphasis on sustainability and customized solutions. By adding these systems to its offering, Urschel is aiming to provide customers with more comprehensive processing capabilities that complement its precision cutting machinery.

The expansion builds on a phased rollout that began in May 2025, when customers in the United States and Mexico were first able to purchase KRONEN equipment directly from Urschel. That was followed by the inclusion of Urschel’s direct offices in Pakistan and China. As of January 1, 2026, customers in Italy and additional Asian markets will receive the same access.
Urschel said existing sales representatives will continue to handle inquiries for both Urschel and KRONEN products, ensuring continuity of service as the company deepens its presence in key global food processing markets.
