ECSLA Cold Chain Logistics Conference

“Innovation and technology throughout the cold chain” is the theme of the ECSLA Fall Cold Chain Conference & Trade Show taking place in Madrid/Spain on October 15-16, 2012. Speakers from food retail and food service, manufacturing, processing and leading cold store and distribution companies will share their experiences with the audience and suppliers will inform participants about latest developments in industry-relevant technologies.

The program is organized in close cooperation with the Spanish cold store association ALDEFE and the Cool Chain Association (CCA) and is a mixture of plenary sessions, breakout sessions, trade show, facility visits and social events that offers delegates the opportunity to network with colleagues from all over Europe and be informed about the latest innovations and technology that can assist logistic service providers deliver the best possible performance at the lowest possible cost. In the plenary and breakout sessions there will be attention for: cost effective case picking at various picking volumes, energy efficiency comparison of different lighting systems, manufacturer’s standards throughout the chain, automation of labor intensive logistic services, potential savings in the supply chain of perishables, expectations for fish and seafood products.
