LIVEKINDLY Collective plant-based food brand The No Meat Company launched new meat-free sausages and Hot & Spicy No Chick Strips, available in more than 700 Iceland and The Food Warehouse stores nationwide in the UK. At the same time The No Meat Company, which was launched by Iceland in 2018, is rolling out its new contemporary packaging across its entire range.
“To us making healthier choices should be simple, especially when swapping out meat for a plant-based alternative. We’re all about fuss-free food, offering staple products that can easily be incorporated into your favourite meals without reaching for a recipe book for inspiration. The new look and feel of No Meat represents exactly that,” Domenico Speciale, general manager UK from The No Meat Company said.
Meat-Free Sausages are made from a blend of pea and wheat proteins, flavoured with herbs and spices, with oyster mushrooms for depth of flavour. Hot and Spicy No Chick Strips is made with pea protein and 100% plant-based.
The No Meat Company’s new design and packaging is modern and supports the broad taste appeal of no meat products, the company says. “The meat-free category has exploded in recent years, and a few category design codes have dominated. We have partnered with Sunhouse Creative to balance creating simple yet distinctive brand assets for stand-out with plant-based category signposting for a brand that has been trusted by consumers for years. It’s a modern twist to the reliable and loved brand”, says Neville Tam, brand lead at The No Meat Company. “Our carton box products have been designed with two front-faces in landscape and portrait to make it easier for shop staff to merchandise our product, and for consumers to see the brand and product name from all angles.”
