Supermarket chain Billa has opened a new logistics centre near Prague. It has a warehouse area of 5,500sqm and will be used for foods that need controlled low temperature storage. The new centre will supply all 207 Billa stores in the country with meat, sausages, dairy products, fruits, vegetables and delicacies. The total investment amounts to around EUR18m and it will create 160 new jobs.
