Baker & Baker Rolls Out Double-Filled Salted Caramel and Nut Doughnut in UK Market

European bakery giant Baker & Baker is bringing one of its most successful continental creations to the UK, unveiling a new double-filled salted caramel and nut doughnut set to launch this April.

The latest addition to the company’s product line reflects the growing demand among British consumers for indulgent flavours paired with premium quality.

Already a hit in several European markets, the doughnut features a rich dual filling of nut-nougat and salted caramel cream. It is finished with a salted caramel-flavoured glaze, a milk chocolate drizzle, and a generous topping of crunchy hazelnut pieces. Designed to appeal to modern tastes while meeting dietary expectations, the product contains no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or eggs, and is suitable for vegetarians.

“We’ve introduced this product to capitalise on a very popular flavour in the UK,” said Helen Sinclair, UK marketing manager at Baker & Baker. “Coupled with a premium doughnut, we’re confident it will prove popular with end-users and support our customers as they look to remain competitive during these challenging times.”

The doughnut, which is supplied as a thaw-and-serve item, joins Baker & Baker’s expanding portfolio of sweet offerings as a permanent listing. The launch also forms part of the company’s broader strategy to refresh its product range throughout 2025 with a blend of limited-edition and long-term options. Just last month, the manufacturer introduced the Victoria Muffin, a modern reinterpretation of the traditional Victoria Sponge.

With a shelf life of three days, the new doughnut is available to foodservice and bakery wholesalers through Baker & Baker’s existing distribution channels. The rollout is supported by a suite of marketing assets—both digital and traditional—designed to help customers boost in-store appeal and drive consumer engagement.
