Central Foods has reaffirmed its focus on technical rigor and customer assurance after successfully retaining its BRC Global Standard for Agents & Brokers certification at the AA grade.
The Northamptonshire-based frozen food specialist has now secured AA-grade BRCGS Agents & Brokers certification for the ninth consecutive year, once again passing its audit on the first attempt with no non-conformances. The outcome underscores the durability of the company’s supply-chain oversight, risk management practices and technical controls.
The certification, awarded following a full audit in November 2025, encompasses Central Foods’ activities as an agent and broker in the import and export of chilled and frozen foods. This includes the supervision of third-party storage and distribution, along with product testing and repacking operations. The renewed certificate remains valid through January 2027.
Globally recognised as a benchmark for best practice in food safety, legality and quality, the BRCGS Agents & Brokers Standard provides independent assurance that certified businesses maintain robust supplier approval, traceability and product integrity systems throughout their supply chains.
For Central Foods’ wholesale and foodservice partners, the renewed accreditation offers added confidence that technical compliance is embedded at every stage, supporting consistent product quality, food safety standards and operational reliability.
