Deutsche See Fischmanufaktur is broadening its commitment to diversity in the seafood market with an expanded selection of frozen fish fillets and seafood in its self-service section.
The latest additions—zander fillet portions, mussel meat, and Fritto Misto—underscore the company’s focus on premium ingredients and convenience, catering to both retailers and discerning consumers. All three products are now available in stores.
The new gourmet frozen selections come in practical two-chamber packaging, further enhancing Deutsche See’s successful product range. The zander fillet portions feature high-quality, scaled fillets with skin, offering easy handling with their convenient 250-gram serving size.
The mussel meat, sourced from sustainable, certified fisheries in the North Sea and western Baltic Sea, is pre-cooked, deep-frozen, and packaged in 150-gram portions for effortless preparation. The Fritto Misto, a Mediterranean-inspired blend of squid, mussels, and shrimp, is coated in a delicate lemon batter, pre-cooked, and pre-fried.
Frozen in individually portioned 150-gram servings, it allows for quick, crispy preparation and a flavorful seafood experience.
Designed to benefit both retailers and consumers, these new products bring fresh momentum to the self-service frozen food segment. The efficient packaging system ensures optimal use of freezer space while maintaining the company’s hallmark premium quality.
Multi-chamber bags with individually removable portions offer ease of handling and enhanced convenience, while transparent packaging provides customers with a clear view of product quality at first glance. With these latest innovations, Deutsche See reaffirms its dedication to excellence in variety, taste, and sustainability.
A leader in the German seafood market, Deutsche See operates with a workforce of over 1,700 employees across 19 branches, serving more than 35,000 customers in food retail, catering, and food service.
