Emperor’s Choice, the premium Asian food brand developed by the Jan Zandbergen Group, is expanding its popular Oriental Delights line with a new series of products aimed squarely at the evolving preferences of the European foodservice market.
As the appetite for authentic and trend-aligned Asian flavors continues to grow, the brand is positioning itself at the intersection of culinary tradition and contemporary convenience.
The latest additions to the Oriental Delights range include savory gyozas and crispy spring rolls, designed using traditional East Asian recipes while also drawing inspiration from modern food trends. The products are engineered to offer both consistent quality and easy preparation, making them equally suitable for high-volume delivery kitchens and street food vendors.

The newly launched products include crispy spring rolls available in chicken, duck, and vegetable options, along with a juicy chicken gyoza that serves as a versatile appetizer or side.
These additions complement established favorites in the range, such as Chicken Karaage, Chicken Tatsuta-age, Chinese Roasted Duck, and Chicken Yakitori. All offerings come pre-cooked, designed to ensure speed of service without sacrificing texture or flavor.
Flexibility is a core attribute of the Oriental Delights range. The items work across a variety of formats—from rice and noodle bowls to bento boxes and street food-style sharing menus. Their frozen, ready-to-use format and high product reliability allow chefs to stay agile and creative while maintaining operational efficiency.
With this latest expansion, Emperor’s Choice is capitalizing on prevailing trends across the continent: the rising popularity of Korean street food, the broad appeal of Japanese small plates, and sustained interest in Chinese comfort classics. The goal is to provide European chefs with easy access to traditional East Asian flavor profiles while preserving the integrity of the cuisine.
To ensure authenticity, the Jan Zandbergen Group’s R&D team embarked on a culinary research trip across Asia. Collaborating with local partners and suppliers, the team studied regional flavor nuances, preparation techniques, and ingredient sourcing. The result is a product line that pays homage to Asia’s culinary heritage while addressing the operational realities of European foodservice.
