Founded in September 2012, Yooji has developed an innovative offer of portion-sized frozen organic food for babies aged four months and over. The products are prepared near Agen in France in the company’s own production workshop using carefully selected ingredients.
Yooji’s key innovation is its small portions of 20g of vegetables, with just the right amount of starchy foods (twelve recipes, two of which were recognized among the 2014 Saveurs de l’Année in France, and four more recipes coming soon). The company has also included frozen minced meat and fish, in 10g frozen discs for babies, awarded with the SIAL Innovation Medal. The discs are made of finely chopped chicken or cod, are free from additives, salt and preservatives and are available in retail.
