High Liner Foods, the Canadian seafood company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, has appointed Kimberly Stephens as chief financial officer.
She succeeds Darryl Bergman, who will remain in an advisory role until October 3, 2025, to support the transition.

Stephens, who has been with High Liner for three years as vice president of finance and investor relations, has more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance. Prior to joining the company, she was vice president of finance at Acadian Seaplants and previously served more than a decade as CFO at two publicly traded firms, Appili Therapeutics and Immunovaccine Inc. She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

High Liner, based in Nova Scotia, markets a range of frozen seafood products across North America. Its brands include High Liner, Sea Cuisine, Mrs. Paul’s, Van de Kamp’s, Fisher Boy, C. Wirthy, Mirabel, and Catch of the Day, sold through grocery and club stores in the US and Canada. The company also supplies restaurants and foodservice distributors with branded and private-label seafood under names such as High Liner, Mirabel, Icelandic Seafood and FPI.
