Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection, a global leader in precision measurement and inspection solutions, is set to exhibit a suite of cutting-edge technologies at the PPMA Total Show 2025, taking place from September 23–25 at the NEC Birmingham.
Under the theme Inspect. Protect. Comply., the company will present its latest innovations designed to help food and pharmaceutical manufacturers ensure product integrity, safeguard brand reputation, and meet stringent regulatory standards.
Live demonstrations on Stand C84 will spotlight three key systems engineered to support quality assurance, waste reduction, and operational efficiency. Among the highlights is the X52 X-ray Inspection System, a premium dual-energy solution that delivers high-performance detection of low-density contaminants such as bone, rubber, and glass. Designed for complex and high-risk applications, the system features modular construction and intuitive software, allowing seamless adaptation to specific production requirements.
Also featured will be the Profile Throat Metal Detector, built for use in space-constrained environments. Ideal for inspecting free-falling products prior to Vertical Form, Fill and Seal (VFFS) packaging, the system combines high sensitivity with a user-friendly color touchscreen interface. It is engineered to enhance line speed and efficiency while ensuring consistent metal detection and product quality.
Rounding out the trio is the CMV Combination System, an integrated unit that merges dynamic checkweighing, label inspection, and metal detection in a single compact footprint. With fully configurable components, the CMV Combi offers manufacturers a comprehensive control point, reducing product giveaway, ensuring label accuracy, and detecting contaminants—all while bolstering productivity and regulatory compliance.
Visitors to the show will also have the opportunity to explore ProdX™, Mettler-Toledo’s real-time data management software. Designed to automate inspection monitoring, reporting, and traceability, ProdX™ supports food manufacturers in achieving safety compliance and improving operational transparency. The system enables enhanced due diligence and facilitates brand protection, while data analysis tools help identify line improvements to drive productivity and manage rising costs.
In addition to product inspection technologies, equipment from Mettler-Toledo’s Industrial and Process Analytics divisions will also be featured, with further details to be announced ahead of the show.
