The company recently released a new ice cream flavor that is called Chip Happens, and it was inspired by Netflix’s baking competition “Nailed It!”, which is a competition series where amateur bakers try to replicate stylized cakes and other baked goods.
“Each pint has a chocolate ice cream base, fudge chips, and swirls of crunchy potato chips coming together for a pint of salty-sweet, chocolatey heaven,” Ben & Jerry’s described it.
This isn’t Ben & Jerry’s first time adding potato chips to ice cream, having released such a combination before, in partnership with Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Dough”.
The ice cream is a limited edition, and is already on shelves in Australia, with a launch in the US happening soon. It’s currently available on Walmart.com for USD4.57.
