Sensitech, Carrier Transicold to Showcase Cold Chain Innovations at Fruit Logistica 2026

Sensitech and Carrier Transicold plan to highlight new approaches to safeguarding perishable goods when they appear at Fruit Logistica 2026, scheduled for Feb. 4-6 in Berlin.

The showcase comes as the fresh-produce industry faces growing pressure to improve reliability, transparency and sustainability across increasingly complex global supply chains.

Carrier Global Corporation, a provider of climate and energy solutions, said the event will focus on how data-driven technologies can help shippers better protect quality and safety during transit, including long-haul ocean shipments. Specialists from Sensitech and Carrier Transicold will be on hand to discuss tools designed to monitor temperature and other critical conditions from harvest to delivery.

Among the technologies being presented is Sensitech’s SensiWatch platform, which tracks temperature and related data throughout each stage of transport, giving shippers a continuous view of cargo conditions. The platform has recently been expanded to include vessel location information and predictive arrival times, a feature aimed at improving visibility for ocean freight. Sensitech will also feature its TempTale GEO device, which captures temperature, light, humidity and location data and feeds that information directly into the SensiWatch system, enabling real-time monitoring across major modes of transportation.

Carrier Transicold will spotlight its OptimaLINE container refrigeration system, which the company says can cut energy costs by as much as 15% while reducing emissions by 40% compared with earlier Carrier models. Also on display will be the EverFRESH active controlled-atmosphere system, designed to regulate oxygen and carbon dioxide levels inside refrigerated containers to slow ripening and extend the shelf life of sensitive produce. EverFRESH is offered in combination with OptimaLINE units.

Together, Sensitech and Carrier Transicold say their offerings reflect a broader push toward intelligent and more sustainable cold-chain management, as produce shippers seek greater control, accountability and efficiency in moving goods from farm to market.
