Simply Food Solutions is expanding its footprint in foodservice with the launch of Discovery Kitchen, a hospitality-focused brand designed to help operators bring globally inspired dishes to menus with greater consistency and efficiency.
Introduced through Bidfood, the range features British-made recipes aimed at easing operational pressures while responding to growing demand for world cuisines.
Discovery Kitchen debuts with a core assortment spanning Indian, Mexican, Asian and Italian influences, complemented by a bespoke development service for customers seeking tailored solutions. For 2026, the brand is introducing five trend-driven products, including Korean-inspired Sticky Gochujang Chicken, Tofoo Red Thai Curry and Mediterranean Beef & Fennel Meatballs, additions that build on an existing lineup of globally themed dishes.
The broader range already includes items such as a Shakshuka base sauce intended to streamline preparation of Middle Eastern breakfast and brunch dishes, alongside familiar international options including Makhani Chicken Curry, Thai Green Curry and Singapore Noodles. Together, the portfolio is positioned to help hospitality businesses deliver diverse menus without adding complexity in the kitchen.
Developed in collaboration with Bidfood’s culinary director, Martin Eshelby, the range draws on insights from Bidfood’s 2026 Food and Drink Trends and reflects expectations that global flavors will continue to shape menus over the next several years. Products were tested and refined with customers to ensure they address the day-to-day realities of foodservice operations, from labor shortages and rising costs to uneven skill levels.
All Discovery Kitchen dishes are halal-certified and supplied frozen in individual or multi-portion formats, with packaging designed for speed and consistency. The emphasis on cook-from-frozen convenience is intended to support kitchens operating with limited staff while maintaining flavor and quality standards.
