Thai Union Group’s frozen Yellowfin Tuna Slices product has received the runner-up award in the product design category during the Innovation Thailand Expo 2019 hosted by the National Innovation Agency.
Developed to give customers a healthier, convenient alternative to traditional luncheon meats, the tuna slices are perfect for sandwiches, salads and cold-cut platters. The product also received the 2018 Seafood Excellence Award in the Best New Foodservice Product category at the Boston Seafood Expo North America.

Thai Union’s Yellowfin Tuna Slices are pre-sliced, pre-seasoned tuna bits made from whole yellowfin tuna loins. The parts are processed and sliced to offer a new experience to customers,” said Tawat Suthasineenont, deputy director at the Thai Union Global Innovation Center.
The Thai Union Group is among the world’s largest producers of seafood products with customers across the world for more than 40 years. The company posted annual tuna product sales of approximately USD4.1bn and claims a global workforce of over 47,000 people.
