Wells Buys Ice Cream Plant from Unilever

Wells Enterprises, Inc. has signed a purchase agreement with Unilever for its ice cream manufacturing plant located in Henderson, Nevada. This purchase will expand Wells’ current manufacturing capacity and diversify its ability to support customers geographically to help meet future demand and adds an important footprint in the West. The sale is expected to be completed in September, subject to standard closing conditions. Financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed.

Wells is the second-largest ice cream manufacturer in the U.S. with a strong house of brands including signature brand, Blue Bunny, along with private label and co-pack business.
