Leeds-based ice cream company, Northern Bloc is launching a brand new flavor into retail on November 11 in the UK. This new flavor features ice cream with caramelized almond pieces and a caramel swirl.
Northern Bloc is known for manufacturing vegan ice creams, and the new flavor is no different, as it targeted at anyone who is lactose intolerant or looking to incorporate dairy-free and plant-based meals into their diets.
This new flavor was already previewed at Vegfest London at Olympia in October and received positive feedback from fans.
The Salted Caramel & Almond Swirl flavor will hit freezers this month at Co-op stores nationwide and will retail for GBP5.
“At Northern Bloc, we are leading the way in vegan innovation. Ice cream is both an art and a science. We are proud of the way we do things at Northern Bloc. Our fourth generation ice cream world champion and scientist chef was able to truly achieve an all-natural, creamy taste and texture. You really can’t tell it’s made from plants,” says Josh Lee, founder of Nothern Bloc.
