The Little Gem Aspire Dicer, a new Urschel cutting concept in fruit and vegetable processing, will be shown at Interpack, held from May 7-13, 2026, at Messe Düsseldorf in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The dicer will be joined on the showroom floor by existing Urschel cutting solutions including the E TranSlicer Cutter with conveyor, the Affinity Integra Dicer, and the Comitrol Disc Mill 380 (DM 380). Interact with these Urschel machines at Booth C34 in Hall 1 to discover how they assist processors in high-capacity precision slicing, dicing, milling, and granulating solutions for continuous production.
The Little Gem Aspire Dicer is ready to run and produce ideal cuts including slices from 2 mm to 20 mm, strips, and dices up to 20 mm. The Little Gem Aspire is engineered for a low total cost of ownership overall. The small footprint takes up limited production space.
Invented by the Urschel I&D (Innovation and Development) team, the Little Gem Aspire employs patent-pending Urschel cutting methods engineered through extensive research and development. The Little Gem Aspire is named after the original Little Gem that inspired generations of innovation and the early success of Urschel to later become the global leader in food cutting technology.
The E TranSlicer Cutter with built-in discharge conveyor is designed to continuously process firm and leafy, compressible products through interchangeable stainless steel cutting options for uninterrupted production. The built-in conveyor assists production by facilitating batch processing into totes or onto platforms. It eases routine servicing by maintaining the machine at floor level, and promotes optimized, controlled, and complete discharge of cut product to reduce waste.
Designed to meet the challenges of difficult-to-cut products, the Affinity Integra Dicer excels at processing applications such as cheese or soft meats, meats with high-fat content, cold temperature products, sticky bakery ingredients, or products like brined pickles. The dicer’s clean-cutting action achieves high yields of precise, targeted cut sizes well within customer parameters.
The Comitrol Disc Mill (DM) 380 features a unique disc plate design and adjustable gap setting to process nuts in small batches or for high-volume, continuous production. The machine reduces whole/split nuts into a flowable nut butter or paste, and butter texture is controlled through the plate gap adjustment.
