Florigo has delivered its latest steam peeler technology towards a large vegetable processor in France.
Overall, the company has so far installed over 300 peelers in Europe and 200 in the rest of the world, Florigo’s Steam Peelers, formerly known as Komen & Kuin, are favorite for many potato and vegetable processors because of the low peel-loss and low maintenance costs.
Florigo’s steam peelers are used by the large French fries processors, processors of (baby) carrots, parsnip, beets, cassava etcetera. The flagship model, SSC-700 has a volume of 700 l and is capable of peeling 16 t/hr of potatoes and 13 t/hr of carrots.
