The British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) has recently announced that John Hyman will succeed Brian Young this month, as chief executive of the Federation.
Hyman joined John joined BFFF in August and is a highly experienced food industry professional. He was previously UK group commercial director at Adelie Foods and has also held senior roles at First Drinks, Dairy Crest, Heinz and Arla.
“I’m delighted to be joining such a dynamic and successful federation. The frozen food industry is a real success story. Every day of the week our members provide delicious, nutritious and affordable food to millions of consumers and diners in households and catering establishments across the UK,” Hyman said. “In the last decade, Brian and the BFFF team have developed the federation to become one of the leading trade associations in the food industry. I’m looking forward to building on that success and representing our members as effectively as possible.”
From his new role, Hyman will be responsible for the management of the Federation to promote and protect the interests of its 325 members.
Frozen Food Europe has enjoyed a great cooperation with the BFFF, which will continue in 2017, beginning with an exclusive interview with John Hyman, in the first print issue of next year. Currently, BFFF is the leading Trade Association for the frozen food industry with members from the entire cold chain.
